Circo is an adults-only app intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older, as described in our Terms of Service. The app is not directed to children or minors, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a person under 18, we will delete that information and remove the account. Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
We keep your personal information only for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service to you. When you delete your account (Settings > Delete Account), we delete or de-identify your personal information, except where we are required to keep certain records to comply with legal, tax, accounting, security, or fraud-prevention obligations, or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Content you shared in group settings (such as messages in a group chat) may remain visible to other participants after your account is deleted. Backups containing your data are purged on our routine backup-rotation schedule.

Circo uses a limited set of third-party service providers to operate the app (for example, cloud hosting, maps, and the AI assistant described in Section 12). When we share data with these providers, we share only what is needed to deliver the feature you are using, and they are not permitted to use it for their own unrelated purposes. The app may also contain links to other third-party services we do not control; we are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please review their privacy policies.
Coco is an in-app AI assistant powered by Google Gemini, a third-party AI service operated by Google. Coco is optional, and we ask for your explicit consent before using it.
When you chat with Coco, we send the following to Google Gemini to generate a reply:
Google processes this data to return Coco's response and according to Google's own terms and privacy policy. We do not send this data to Google until you have agreed to the in-app disclosure. If you decline, Coco's AI chat is disabled, though some local features that do not use Google Gemini (such as compatibility and daily fortune) may still work. You can decline at any time by not granting consent; reinstalling the app also resets your choice.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
